About The Artwork
These women make me so proud of my Mexican heritage... I finally had to paint one! It's worth the slight detour from sci-fi to magical realism to try to capture the wonder I feel when I watch these ladies ride. I want to be an Escaramuza when I grow up! I use Golden Acrylics for their quality not only in paint handling but also for their archival properties. The frame is hand-built in Salt Lake City, Utah.
