Acorralado Painting

Sonia García was born in Madrid in 1977 and grew up during the Spanish transition. Daughter of a Peruvian mother and a Spanish father, great-granddaughter of Scottish immigrants, she grows up with her three brothers in a multicultural environment surrounded by works of abstract art, Peruvian tapestries and art books where she discovers the Impressionists. While still a child, it was in the family home that she discovered her vocation for painting and found her first influences. She studied Fine Arts in Madrid specializing above all in engraving techniques. Although her passion is painting, she has devoted himself professionally to design. In 2014 she established her painting studio and currently combines both professions.
