I am lucky enough to live beside a small forest where I walk every day with my dog. In the Pacific Northwest, winter usually means slushy snow and harrowing rain and buckets of mud. But there are days when the sun arrives and everything alters, and this is one of those days... late afternoon. I think I will always be attracted by still reflections. They are like a mirror to another world; more real and intriguing than reality often.
