About The Artwork

I was inspired by the plaque inscription at the Apollo 1, Launching Complex 34. I wanted to illustrate the tears and discipline that goes into being perfect or achieving professional/expert at any endeavor. The early practices aftet school or going the extra miles. When you see a surgeon or professional dancer or a seasoned poet you inly see a glance not the agony their body and soul went through. My painting illustrate a skilled ballet dancets dancing even though they are seen, captured by the audience for milliseconds. Their trainings put them on the performing stage but their skills, their soulful attributes goes beyond the candid split-second eyes demonstrations. My skeletial dissection of humanistic frameworks uses subdued monochromatic-like colors to pronounced timing and tonality.Their dance movements intimately engage the the keen audience each turn of their learned movements.
