Adam and Eve Painting

Anna Covah, born on October 29, 1987 in Novokuznetsk, Russia. Since the early age I was interested in creativity, mostly in painting. At the age of 11 I went to an art school and studied there for 5 years. During that time I've created many pictures that were succesfully exhibited at various regional and state exhibitions. After graduating from art school, I entered the branch of panel painting at the Novokuznetsk School of Arts and studied there for two years. During this time, I had a first solo exhibition called "Contemplation" where I was exhibited 18 paintings. At the same time, I joined the Novokuznetsk youth branch of the Union of Artists, where I, along with other young artists, created an art group called "Most" (The Bridge). Most held a number of exhibitions, which put togetether works of 15 young Siberian artists, mainly working in the field of installation and abstract art. In 2007, I went to Moscow to enter an art university. I have chosen the Moscow Art-Industrial Academy of S. G. Stroganov, who appealed to me because of its liberal educational process, but at the same time its traditions established in the early twentieth century. In 2008 I entered the Monumental and Decorative Arts Department. During my studies I gained good skills in academic education, which I could use while working on a thesis project, which was executed in the technique of linocut, and is a series of twelve paintings on The Creation theme. In 2014 the I successfully maintained my thesis project and entered the graduate school. At the moment I am a member of the Moscow Union of Artists, I paint pictures and create prints, recently I've held my personal exhibition titled "Finding the way."
