About The Artwork
I adopted Nelson a few years ago. The shelter had just gotten a litter of puppies in, so I went in to put in an application for adoption. When I knelt down outside the pen that the litter was in and a shelter volunteer asked me which puppy I wanted to play with, Nelson looked at me and barked. At the time, I was living on a sailboat, and the shelter knew. As I was leaving the shelter with Nelson, one of the volunteers yelled, "Hey, you're that guy that lives on a boat! You and Admiral Nelson!"
