Mom, it's like in Africa! - my daughter exclaimed when she first visited my art studio in Germany. I like rich colors and that's what I'm all about. Therefore, I decided to create a series "Africa", to dedicate it to African women and the continent itself. African women are not afraid of bright colors and are happy to wear colorful outfits. This is how they emphasize their inner state, love of life, activity and emotionality. It invigorates them, lifts their spirits and inspires optimism. The attitude of the inhabitants of Africa to the animal world is distinguished by its immediacy. For example, they believe that some birds are carriers of souls, that the guinea fowl bird is a symbol of family and fertility, and the toucan is a symbol of communication and entertainment. Freshwater fish cichlids represent wealth and abundance, and the salamander is wisdom and caution. The concept and acceptance of this allowed me to liberate myself, release my creative potential and create unique images of African women and their outfits. I created these paintings in one rush.

Ljubow Jung was born in 1960 in a small picturesque village in Kazakhstan. She mastered her craft at the Moscow University of Arts, Department of Easel Painting and Graphics (1979-1981). She worked as an artist for three years and since then has not picked up a brush for almost forty years. At first she worked as a tailor, and for the last twenty years she has been engaged in correcting the behavior of dogs. In her sixties, she decided to return to art. The viewer feels her special attitude to bright colors from the first moment and feels a tremendous attraction, absorbing the powerful luminosity of the images. Like many artists, Ljubow Jung also processes her emotions and experiences in her paintings and reveals them to the viewer using a magical and sensual manner of writing. She is one of the freethinkers in her industry and does not subscribe to any particular style. This opens up expressive and free approaches to interpretation and creativity that make her paintings a real pleasure. Now she is a member of the National Association of Artists of Germany (BBK).
