About The Artwork

Work from an exhibition "Point – Line" whose author – Anna Wolska presented the process of achieving the synthesis of the concept of landscape in painting. The title is a deliberate reference to Wassily Kandinsky's book of a similar title. For the author, the title also reflects a certain artistic credo related to the technique as well as image and space building method. Colour is the main carrier of emotions in Anna Wolska's works. The author treats it very daringly, often supporting it with an energetic gesture of multi-layer paint. Color is the main carrier of emotions in Anna Wolska's works. Painting presented at the Cultural Center in Katowice in 2017, in an exhibition Sinfonia Varsovia in Warsaw 2017, Night of Museum, Warsaw 2017.
