A prime location in the Charleston area is Shem Creek in Mount Pleasant, just a short ride from Charleston downtown across the Ravenel Bridge.I caught this view in the late afternoon in September when the sun was beginning to set. You should visit have drinks and a bite to eat at the many restaurants along the creek. You can rent a kayak or paddle board and get up close to the shrimp boats, dolphins and pelicans.
