All But Lost Painting

Born in Hastings, I moved to West Sussex in 2005 to do a degree in Dance with Fine Art at The University of Chichester. During my degree I worked mainly with oil paints, but also gained a fascination with the moving image, endeavoring to create moving paintings using film. I went on to pursue a career in Dance until moving to Folkestone in 2013, where the new environment sparked my passion for art again. I have been captivated by the visible history Folkestone has to offer. In my work there is a constant friction between my fascination with my surroundings and my ability to get swept away in my imagination, thus creating a diverse catalogue of work.
