About The Artwork
This painting was made at a transitional time in my creative process. It was a place of searching for new, feeling lost but trying new things anyway with constant, random thoughts playing into the mix. Layers of changes and being inventive with new materials included sewing machine collage for the first time for me. I am excited by the new lease of life this new visual vocabulary brings to the work.
