DIANA KIROVA
Diana Kirova nasce a Sofia in Bulgaria e dal 1992 vive e lavora a Roma.
Dipingere è stato sempre il suo amore soffocato da una realtà dell’Est, dove si insegnava che “l’arte non ti dà da mangiare” e spinta da suo padre a studiare in direzione logica e matematica si laurea in Ingegneria nella città di origine e si abilitata in conseguenza anche in Italia nel 2004.
Il suo percorso artistico è un continuo prendere e lasciare cominciando dall'età di 7 anni quando viene presa a dipingere al Castello dei Pioneers a Sofia, posto per bambini dotati per l'arte. Dopo due anni di frequenza è costretta a lascare per partire con la famiglia all'estero. Al ritorno ricomincia di nascosto a prendere lezioni di disegno dell'Arch. Susi Aronova per prepararsi ad entrare nell'Accademia di Belli Arti di Sofia. Il padre insiste per le materie logiche .Si laurea in Ingegneria Idraulica nel 1988 .Si sposa e rimane a vivere a Roma. Il suo amore verso l'arte la fà iscrivere nel 1996 all'Accademia delle Belle Arti di Roma .Purtroppo non riesce a laurearsi per via della maternità. L'ultimo tentativo disperato lo fa nel 2008 iscrivendosi al Concorso Premio Celeste dove entra nei 20 finalisti pittori con l'opera “Essere o non essere”. Da quel momento Diana Kirova comincia a farsi strada sgomitando, confrontarsi con gli altri e ad esporsi al pubblico, sapendo che è l’ultima sua occasione di fare quello che da piccola li stava a cuore - dipingere.
In breve tempo, fino d’oggi, ha numerosissime partecipazioni a manifestazioni nazionali e riconoscimenti.
