Alone & Isolated Painting

The current events have made people world wide feel isolated and lonely. The blurred image of a person in blue shows the person to be alone and depressed. My 94 year old lonely mother inspired this work. She wants to go out and socialize, but her fear keeps her inside. She is not computer savvy so, she can’t view church or interact with friends and family as she would normally do. I chose acrylic because of the vivid colors available. Abstract gives viewers an opportunity to meditate and analyze The feelings the artist had at the time of creation.
