About The Artwork
This hill station in India..Dharamshala, is the house of The Dalai Lama. The small town is flocked with Buddhist Monks and colourful prayer flags. The air has a continuous murmur of the hymns and chants, which are sang daily in the stone Monasteries closeby. I encountered small fleets of sheep along the hilly trails..soft, bright and playful.. Such a joyous atmosphere inspired me to capture this serene essence in a canvas!
