ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Amor Vincit Omnia is a work inspired by the dualism of the elements, in their symbolic potential in which good and evil exist and coexist. The animals are symmetrical and specular, they have no obvious differences between them, because it is up to us to decide which element (positive or negative) to prevail. The sacred heart inside underlines the introspective spirituality of the work, and the real peacock feathers on the edge warn against the risk of getting lost in vanity, and bring the viewer back to a more intimate dialogue with himself. The work is made with mosaic of glass, brass and peacock feathers on a recycled wooden door.
