About The Artwork
This a painting from my "Walls" series. It is about old, dilapidated city walls which through their many layers are witnesses to the history of a certain place. Some of the walls contain mysterious inscriptions. This here holds a symbol that looks like stairs. It is actually inspired by a Paleo-Hebrew letter "Hhet" which means, simply, wall.
