Russian folktale "Angry Mistress" My author's illustration for a fairy tale. There lived a lady in the estate - and before that angry, no one had any life! The elder will come to ask what - she won’t let him go until she spoils him. And there was no life for the peasants: they were fighting like dogs. Here is a soldier who comes home on a visit. They told him about the lady, and he says: "I will teach her." Night fell, the lady fell asleep. He ordered the soldiers to harness the horses. He drove up to the estate, quietly carried the lady and drove into the hut to the shoemaker. And he took the shoemaker’s wife to the estate. The shoemaker’s wife woke up at the dawn, she sees that the house is excellent. Immediately the handmaids ran to her, served washing. Washed - served a towel, wiped it off. Serve a samovar. She sat down to drink tea. The elder comes to her on tiptoe. She looked at him: what kind of man? “You,” he says, “what do you want?” “I, lady, have come to ask what outfit you will give today.” And she guessed how to answer: “Nothing, do you know?” What did you do yesterday, do it today! The headman went into the kitchen and said: - Today the mistress is kind, it just hasn’t been like that! Sapozhnikov’s wife lives in the estate for a month or two, and so the peasants praised her - there is no better lady in the whole district! And the lady woke up in the morning at the shoemaker and shouted: - Servants! The shoemaker sits and sews: - Rise, woman, it's time to heat the stove! - And who are you! Give me a wash! - Oh you, lady! Go on the water itself: the sun has long risen. - Jumped up from a chair, pulled off a belt and let's whip it. “You don’t know your position?” You have to get up and flood the stove! And before that he whipped it, until he was tired. The lady prayed. She wandered through the water, then after wood, flooded the stove, cooked something. And so she lived for two months. Whatever she takes, nothing comes out of her, everything falls out of her hands: either she’s not enough cabbage soup, or she’ll spill water. The shoemaker pounded her more than once. And the good mistress, working, became. As the soldier heard about this, he changed the lady and the shoemaker's wife at night. In the morning, the lady rises quietly, leaves her room: “What is it, I'm in an old house? Where did I come from? ” I asked the handmaids: - Maids! How did I get here? “You, lady, have never been anywhere!” And since then the lady soft-soft has become. And Sapozhnikov’s wife began to live in the old way.
