About The Artwork

This political painting was created to illuminate the irrational anger and rage that seems to pervade many men in this country. The blind striking out and too often, it is the female who is in the way. But what is most interesting about it is the different layers of space. The background is one space, the purple box in which the torso is imaged comes forward and is another layer, the outstretched arm and fist comes forward still more in another layer, and the pink area at the bottom is yet another layer. This painting was accepted and shown in juried group show "In The Abstract", SCORE and San Fernando Valley Art and Cultural Center, Encino, CA. 2021. The painting is unframed. It is signed and dated on the back. It is wired and ready to hang. The edges are painted with an extension of the painting.
