ARCHELYS Painting

My paintings are the translation of a traditional technique, calligraphy, ink on paper, and the contribution of digital art. Painting in ink is for me like a natural writing, a gesture that I want instantaneous to better translate my emotions, not to obstruct the channel of this inspiration flowing, fluid, from its source. A calligraphy that moves like music or dance. Strong beats that play with weak beats and together harmonize. The ink installs on the paper strong and thick imprints underlined by weaker lines, accomplices. Like a string quartet where an instrument imposes itself for a few bars and the others underline the power of its phrasing. The movement and the gesture of the dancer in space with strength and amplitude but which is completed with small gestures in a finer and more subtle tempo. But my creation does not stop there. I like that this writing blends into a setting to prolong its story. Stimulate the imagination even more. The contribution of color and textures for a landscape without a name but rich in masses and forms which provokes or induces a whole imaginary universe unique to each one. The very personal freedom to hear a story and its music. This painting is finalized on Canvas, printed, and, if requested, framed. The sizes of my paintings vary from 31.5 up to 51,2 inch. All my paintings are exclusive creations produced in a single copy. And sold with an autenticity certificate.
