About The Artwork

Writing this picture, I was inspired by the period when everything begins to blossom and flourish. I wanted to convey the softness and delicacy of the spring magnolia flower, which blooms in early spring, enchanting with its delicacy and grandeur. A flower that seems to wake us up from the winter coolness, inviting us into the world of colors and colors. The picture is painted in the technique of cold batik (painting on silk, aniline dyes) giving the picture softness and delicacy. The painting is ready for exhibition, stretched on a wooden stretcher with a mount.

I was born in Vinnytsia, Ukraine in 1988. As a child, I had a passion for painting, although there were no artists in the family or in the family in general. My first artistic experience was a circle of Petrykivka painting and a circle of painting on fabric, as a child, which gave rise to my creative path. In 2000 I enter a children's art school and begin to learn the basics of drawing, which later laid the love of art. In parallel with the art school, I enter the Higher Art Vocational School №5 in Vinnytsia, where I study the basics of advertising, ceramics, and wood painting. Since 2006. to 2012 I study at the Lviv National Academy of Arts at the Faculty of Decorative and Applied Arts, Department of Art Textiles (Weaving). I receive a diploma with honors and the title of Master of Textile Artist, researcher, teacher. I work in different styles and genres in search of my own artistic language. I am most fond of expressionism and impressionism.I develop in different genres of painting, most often it is nature, portrait, still life. I also work with textiles, own cold and hot batik techniques, free fabric painting, and patchwork. I am also fond of art photography. Searching in different techniques and styles gives me the opportunity to learn more about art in all its manifestations. The main topic I work with is self-identification, namely how a person identifies, perceives, sees. The path of self-knowledge and reflection of events on the outside. Do people see us exactly as we see ourselves? This topic became most acute during the quarantine period, when people began to spend more time alone, alone. The issue of non-acceptance, tax collection, self-disclosure is currently very relevant. Depression is massively consuming people wiping them off the face of the earth around the world. The main reason for this is an imbalance with oneself. It is this theme that is recalled in my works. This year I became a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. I see my creative path in the disclosure of this topic, which gives me the opportunity to find and get to know myself as an artist.
