About The Artwork
A depiction of how I see my friend Blake. He is a try kinda guy. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t accomplish anything, it just means he’s not afraid to try. He has a degree, a masters and changed careers at 40 to get his plumbing ticket. He is now a priest. He is my priest and to many others. He is also an atheist when I need him to be. His soul is malleable, gentle and wise. He is full of quotes from the piles of books he reads, songs he listens to and from life. He is a dad, husband, brother, son, friend. He embodies the divine by listening and sometimes swearing at me. Blake tries, he is a try hard die hard.
