About The Artwork
Oil on Canvas I am really fascinated by water and its reflection. Based on that I painted a bubble of water that is immense. With the diver caught in it I want to demonstrate how small we actually are and how big we sometimes feel we are. I choose "the title at least he took a selfie" to demonstrate the issue of our egoism. The painting shows the last seconds of the diver who is actually only worried about taking a selfie rather than rescue himself.
