About The Artwork
The plot of this work appeared in my head in 1975, when, being a student I went with my fellows to the small town Temryuk at the Azov sea. I remember my friend (on the left) and I remember the girl. And in the year of 2002, when I decided to paint them, i tried to recapture the atmosphere of romance between them. And why, do you think, the guy is pulling the dog's tail? Only because he is a bit jealous that the dog has more "access"to the girl than he does. Oh, those student years... I like to remember them. This painting was showed at my personal exhibition at the Moscow Central House of Artist in 2017

I was born on August 10, 1950 in the small town of Svatovo in Ukraine. From the 80s and until the beginning of 90s I worked under contracts of the Artists' Union of the USSR Art Fund in a graphic factory and a visual agitation workshop. Many of my works are in private collections in Russia and abroad (USA, Holland, Spain, Japan).
