Atlantis Under Water Painting

In February 2023, my artwork, Atlantis, emerged shortly after a devastating earthquake centered in Kahraman Maraş, Turkey. I felt a deep connection to one of the affected cities, particularly as Hatay, a city with a rich history as one of the cradles of civilization where people of diverse religions and backgrounds coexisted in harmony for centuries, now found itself facing potential extinction. Amidst the national mourning and deep emotional turmoil of the time, I turned to meditation while seated in front of my canvas. Instead of dwelling on the harsh realities of the world, I longed to envision pink clouds within the canvas of my mind. The world is plagued by immense suffering, and my inner mission was to strive for balance and harmony. Atlantis, a concept that varies from person to person, whether as a historical reality, a myth, or sheer fantasy. However, one undeniable truth is that at that very moment, I found myself attuned to the mystical frequencies of a parallel realm, and it was from this alignment that my painting was born. With boundless love and enthusiasm, I embarked on the journey of creating a magical painting once again. On one side of the canvas, there lay the Sirius symbol, while on the other, dragonflies gracefully danced. Dragonflies symbolize not only good fortune but also protection. Hieros Gamos, representing the sacred union of twin souls and the divine marriage of God and Goddess—a symbol of the highest-frequency experience of connection one can encounter in our earthly reality. Yes, my intent was to create yet another captivating masterpiece, one that held the power to transform the lives of those who gazed upon it or touched it, as if by the touch of a magical wand. I see myself not just as an artist but also as a healer, harnessing the mystic arts to bring about positive change. Indeed, I am an artist-wizard, devoted to the cause of enlightenment.
