ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The Atwater Market is one of my favourite places in Montreal. Designed by local architect, Ludger Lemieux , and built in 1938. It's signature clock-tower still gives the correct time. This painting was drawn from a plein-air sketch produced in blustery autumn weather.
