About The Artwork
Living in Cape Town, South Africa, we have an abundance of really beautiful protea species. So they are very often my models for my abstract work. As I interpret the work I hope to show you a part of my vision for you to enjoy. I love what I do and hope to share that with the viewer. The end result can be a many layered work or one that happened at the spur of the moment. This painting also reflects the colours of the vineyards, another favourite subject matter of mine.

The floral abundance as well as the sea, landscape with its magnificent mountains, cityscapes, the list of inspiration is endless and I often take on different challenges all in one go!
