About The Artwork

This is one of three images displayed at the Cambridge Art Salon in Dec 2016; as part of a collaborative exhibition by the four artists that make up SPANartists. It is a limited layer gestural interpretation using a single motif taken from Shakespeare's comic play Love's Labours Lost. "Let fame, that all hunt after in their lives, Live register'd upon our brazen tombs And then grace us in the disgrace of death; When, spite of cormorant devouring Time, The endeavour of this present breath may buy That honour which shall bate his scythe's keen edge"
