Creativity has always involved me, I trained as a fashion designer, when I was mainly inclined towards the development of prints. After a few years in this universe, I decided to transition and become a painter. I realized that it is in the poetics of art that I have the most to offer people, it is in painting that I can really have significant exchanges in life. I combined my professional experience as a designer with the personal experiences, present in my works. As a child, I spent part of the time on my grandfather's farm, where there was a coffee plantation and some rainforest corridors. This phase was very fruitful, as it provided a keen eye for textures and a heightened sensitivity to Earth's elements. I am a spectator of the sky, an observer of gardens, of the glow of the waters and of wild animals. The animals I portray can be wild, but I look for their emotional side, their genuine feelings, what is not perceived or is unknown to human beings, I bring their sensitive version. In nature there are many subtleties, so it is in the painting that it will speak for itself. I also transit through other topics more related to human behavior, but I believe that everything is interconnected. I like to intersperse different materials and bases, such as canvas and ceramics. This one, in particular, captivates me for its rustic side that comes from clay and for its connection with the manual process, which are very significant. I identify with this material that has its own shine and that when it meets the painting it provides a unique and delicate result.
