About The Artwork
This is No. 5 of my latest series of Hong Kong Cinema/Secret Agent/action movie Pop Art paintings, featuring a beautiful wounded girl in a gun battle with unknown assailants. This is an original oil on canvas which is stretched on a plywood silhouette. Approximately life-sized. This was featured in a juried group Fine Art exhibition in the Detroit, MI area in 2008. Influenced by illustrator Robert McGinnis who did many 007 movie posters, and also Robert Longo's 'Men in Cities' drawings. NOTE: in the 'view in a room' you will not see the grey background this piece is hung on and it will appear larger. This site won't accept this cut-out photo I just tried to make - too small.
