This painting deployed itself freely letting appear a fantastic and mysterious scenery taking place on a mountain's slopes. As usual, many spirits and creatures come by to assist the action. A female head which seems, at first sight, cut can after all be considered as a mask, fallen on the floor. I invite the spectators to consider it in regards of the current context. Linking it to the thematic of getting rid of our own masks and superficial roles to stop or quit the masquerade going on is an interpretation's possibility, in between others.
