About The Artwork
Painting on Doors...some doors are covered in canvas. This is a multi-panel painting collaboration by Mikel Frank and Gerard Amsellem. It was painted live in Beacon, NY at Kunshtal Beacon, as part of the exhibition/installation: MICA: Then and Now. This exhibition was made up of alumni of Maryland Institute College of Art and curated by Barry Nemett. This exhibition traveled to The Noyes Museum of Art in New Jersey where another live painting was created by Frank and Amsellem called Blue Room.
