I painted this portrait of Frida Kahlo because I love her spirit, Her emotional portraits. What really attracted me to this portrait was the pose she was laying in and the emotional response she had to the camera that seemed deeper that just one glance of looking at her. Her strong nature that also seemed soft in a way at the same time.
