Born in Puerto Rico and moved to Florida as a child I have been passionate about art and nature since a very young age. Living in tropical climates and coastal regions I always had the opportunity to see how water brings joy to people regardless of culture, race, income and age. There is something about going under the surface that takes you away from all the world. Something about the way the water holds you, the muffled sounds, the way the water bends the sun rays, and the colors that just takes you away. I find it especially fascinating to capture the faces of others and try to interpret their experience.
