ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The nudes that are inlayed within the artwork, represent my daydreams. A fantasy life of imagination that Surrealists and Expressionists tried to capture. My elongated, abstracted nudes are outstretched in leisurely positions that give the appearance of effortlessness. As seen in my seascapes and landscapes they linger in the work float peacefully. It represents my daydreaming nature for escape to the swim and float peacefully in the ocean, influenced by the nature around me, being blessed to live closely to bushland reserves and a stones throw away from the beach and city life.
