The artist and interior designer from Rome had intensive experiences with nature in her childhood and youth, especially in connection with the sea. It was only when she moved to Innsbruck that she became increasingly fascinated by the mountains. It is not only the impressive mountains themselves and the forces of nature in Tyrol that move her, but especially the spectacular changes of mood and the infinitely varied play of light that have inspired her to create her latest series of works, BERGWELTEN.

Carla Romana Fantini - Biography The artist was born in Rome and grew up in a diplomatic-academic environment where there was no space or support for her desire to give artistic expression to her creativity. The regular changes of place that came, were both a resource and a challenge during this phase. The first phase of her life in which she was able to freely live out her inherent urge for artistic expression was during her interior design studies in Rome, where she was initially very inspired by the possibilities of the digital world. This proved to be a blessing in her next phase of life, starting a family and moving to Innsbruck, as she was able to "secretly" create art through digital possibilities. On the basis of this digital foundation, she later created the series of works she calls DIALOG, in which the digital world enters into an exciting symbiosis with the analog and handcrafted world on canvas. Her second series of works were created under the term LETTING GO, which also describes her next phase in life and her desire for less control, and the urge to give her art an even freer expression. Interestingly, the thesis of her translation studies served as the igniting spark for the new creative period. Her bachelor thesis dealt with Aboriginal art and its use of earthy pigments and natural colors. All this resulted in "let-go" paintings in which the image was allowed to develop freely from within itself. At the same time, the artist not only used a wide variety of pigments but also experimented with the oxidation of metallic substances, whose development on the canvases is also not really controllable. The artist is currently working on her third series of works, which deals with the theme of minimalism. The name of her New Collection is OBSERVING NOISE. There is a legitimate hope that these are still the beginnings and that the creative volcano that is inside Ms. Fantini will bring more series of works and techniques of her own to the art world that will be just as surprising and fascinating now that she is giving her full attention to her two passions - art and sensorial interior design. https://www.carla-romana.com/ https://www.instagram.com/carlaromanafantini/ http://www.facebook.com/carla.fantini.31 http://crfantini.wix.com/decodethecode
