This work of art was inspired by the city around me. I live in Baltimore and grit abounds. One day I was exploring in my car and I came across this scene. I was driving down Biddle Street which I always thought was a funny name. I was really intrigued by this big graffiti monster peaking out from between these two buildings and was compelled to peak down the alley. I snapped some photos and did some sketches. This piece was painted in my Southeast Baltimore studio and is a homage to curiosity and taking risks.
