About The Artwork

I had been painting facets of the divine feminine for a while, and with this piece I was using feminine symbols: the vesica piscis is embedded in the 3 eyes overlapping, the full moon "halo", water, and a chin tattoo. Since I gave this woman a tattoo typical of the native woman of the Alaskan circle I researched if there were any deities of the water in Inuit culture and discovered one named called "Big Bad Woman, Mother of the Sea"
