About The Artwork
This is a scene which occurs in the winter sky outside my door at about midnight when the Big Dipper stands on end and superimposes over a tree. I have been drawing and painting this scene for about 25 years and have dozens of paintings (the largest are 48" x 96"), and 100's of drawings. It refers to Ralph Albert Blakelock and Albert Pinkham Ryder.
