About The Artwork
AS mentioned in texts on related subject works, I have been painting a Tree in the winter night's sky from outside my sudio in which figures a superimposed Big Dipper (on end) configured exactly as it has appeared since I first noticed it and began to draw and paint it some 25 years ago. The development of this work during this time is itself a text on my work as an artist in addition to the subject matter and its statement of the relativity of all things, as well as its demonstration (even schematic) of poetry..
