Birth of Venus Painting

Venus is the most beautiful of all the goddesses, eternally young, eternally captivating, the beautiful eyes of the goddess promise only bliss. She was worshipped as the goddess of fertility and passion of the heart - the Latin word venus ( veneris) translates as "love". Venus or Aphrodite is one of the most worshipped goddesses of Mount Olympus, born from the snow-white foam of the sea near the island of Cyprus. My work is another interpretation of the ancient myth of the birth of the goddess of love, beauty, carnal pleasures and all kinds of tenderness Aphrodite (in the tradition of Roman mythology her name is Venus). As one who has just been born on dry land from the foam of the sea, she appears, naturally, in her negligee. And all who see her understand - love has come, love is coming. As the saying goes, "LOVE IS GOVERNING THE WORLD". And these are not empty words, just as "BEAUTY SAVES THE WORLD" - both literally and figuratively. For without beauty - beautiful thoughts, intentions, actions.... without love - what sense is there in life? We are not born for vanity. I have nothing more to add about the story.... except to note the hormony of nature and man...beauty.
