About The Artwork
I painted this on location on my birthday, hence the title. What wonderful forces have made it so that I am able to paint en plein air on my birthday in the company of the mighty Colorado River and the Colorado National Monument! I am so very grateful. I hope when you see this painting, you feel inspired. The stones I found along the shore accompany this piece.
