Slovenia
Visual artist, born 1961 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Member of artists' collective IRWIN, a group of 5 painters from Slovenia, active in the field of contemporary art since 1983. In 2020 I started to work on a body of paintings that slightly differ from the work we do in IRWIN. The lockdown kind of intensified this production, both conceptually and formally. The paintings can be viewed as a certain response to the pandemic experience. But they are also about painting. And my personal dialog with the history of art.
