Black Heart, Number 04 Painting

Black Heart is my 2016 Art Collection . Back to the abstract painting , and specially for this collection , I decided to work using subjective elements of the urban life . My research is focused on urban culture, such as hip hop and graffiti, and by the observation of urban landscapes, graffiti and stencil art. Also I am driven by the search for an understanding of personal experiences and the way that these are absorbed and manifested. The heart is all the time being marked (black), sometimes broken, hurt, lost and purified. Life in the city is insane. Most of the work is done by using mixed media, in order to provide a better result as I am using spray paint for the first time.
