" Black & White Homage to George Boroier" “Black & White Homage” It is common, when artist uses another artist’s work for inspiration. In my “Homage” series, I am trying, with respect and love, paint semi-abstract composition after the works of famous artists, limiting color to black & white, but keeping the energy of the original work as much as possible. It is like playing a jazz improvisation after famous composition on two instruments: “Black” & “White”. In doing so, I have gained a greater understanding and appreciation of Art, which I love. George Boroier is wonderful Art Nouveau artist. I tried to bring his elegance and beauty to my semi abstract expressive, pallet knife style, with respect and honor.
