This acrylic painting was created in 2016 as a part of a series of works about possible errors made during the process of a painting as a consequence of accident. This idea is taken from the Jackson Pollock concept of painting but unlike the painter of dripping, I used as a start point old faulty photographic printings in black and white I took when I studied photography at Fine Arts University in Granada. Talking in a technical way, this photographic printings were unfocused, too obscure or too light (bad lighting), or even moved, what it precluded sometimes to recognize the subjects in the images sometimes. But, in my opinion (not my teachers') this images had a lot of artistic possibilities because they transmited ambiguity and uncertainty, the most important things in an artwork. Thus, more than ten years later I took out this photographs and thought of extrapolating these extrange visual images into canvases. However, my intention was not to repeat the same result I got on the snapshots but, through the same process, to find out new possibilities in the pictorial field. I mean to fix the light image through light and dark in the surface throwing, in this case, black acrylic paint on the canvas on the floor and interfering the less possible into the final form of the painting, created as a consequence of the rythmes of the flooded areas. This painting is signed and dated on the back and is shipped stretched and unframed in an extra strong cardboard box. This work is made to hang unframed.

At this point Fernando explain: " It doesn't matter any medium I use, wathever acrylic, watercolor, marker or graphite, the most important thing is the experience of the moment and the search of the impulse to react to a stimulus, These two princples I found them out when I worked as an actor in Madrid; and in this way, I can start with an idea in mind but I change it, driven by my instinct, in order to come upon new findings."
