About The Artwork
I did this peace shortly after my mother passed away at the age of 91, having lived a long, a great life. I still felt connected to her, even more connected at times. Around that same time a cousin gave me information about our family genealogy, our blood line. So this painting became a mediation on what connects us, my family down the generations; all of us as humans ultimately connected to each other on this small blue ball we call home.
