Art Description

Painting: Watercolor, Oil, Acrylic on Canvas.

The Blue Bay collection was initially designed for small size artworks but span out well into medium and rather large canvases.

Inspired by the areal photography, my love for vibrancy of the watercolour medium.

My partner was born in Devon and learned sailing before he could walk. He introduced me to the world of sailing but I am much more drawn to the apre - regatta experience of life on sea. This is hopefully reflected in my Blue Bay series.

This one is a delicate take. Ethereal nearly there but strong lined underwater silhouettes. Two brush stroke floating boats floating in turquoise surface, ouzzing calmness and tranquility of every sea holiday you go to. Immerse in your memories, feel the breeze and gentle salty taste on your buds.
Make it a wannago moment.
Deflect your daily issues and soak your eyes in the colour. Set the destination in your mind.
I wouldn't lie about the artwork having any healing powers, but its certainly a relaxation punch for a good mix afternoon deep breathing in your 5 min escape from reality
Specially if you are in the middle of a city jungle :)

* please note that in reality the colour is subtle, not as toxic blue & green (mobile cameras are bling to capture the true colour shade)
