This lovely minimalistic watercolor painting is about the special atmosphere of sea, waves and sky. I often try to find out how little we need in a painting to transport all there is to know. I love small art as it transports a lot and you have to study it carefully. It´s easy to be impressed by big art but small art needs concentration. Also, it looks great to hang small works as a series. Watermarks and lines, scratches and other watercolor effects are important to my work and keep fascinating me. Of course xyou can easily change the mat into any other size, it will also look great with a bigger mat (square as well standard sizes) as long as the part for the artwork remains 12x12 cm.
