About The Artwork

My new work from the series "Infinite Flight" are paintings in which the color combinations of deep blue, navy, white, yellow, red and black affect the viewer emotionally, cause specific associations, and awaken the imagination, even if the paintings are abstract. Associativity is like establishing chemical connections between different representations, as a result of which one of them causes another. I was inspired by the desire to express the inexpressible, to convey the feeling of the unity of the soul and matter, the universe, the cosmos, and all those invisible connections in our lives. This painting depicted field, water, river, ecology, sunset, sunrise, road, square, sky, autumn, summer, spring, forest, rest, sky, sun, nature. * The color rendition of computers and phones may differ from the original painting colors.

I am an Ukrainian artist based in Austria, My paintings come from a love for the creative process, love for nature, and love for color. I love to work with color and light in representing the places and moods I have seen. Most of the works begin from sketches, photographs, or just memories of a walk. My work is as much about memory as it is about the place. I look upon my paintings as a map of my life, which I am constantly creating. At some point, the painting process inevitably takes over and starts to generate the painting's subsequent direction. To me, it is the way it can morph into a different state in minutes. My finished piece needs to feel balanced to me. Balanced in the colors I used, a balance in the light. Original elements can then be re-introduced to the work.
