Blue Silence (SOLD US) Painting

One of my new big size paintings, influenced by my recent residency at the Baltic Sea, where we had a lot of changing lights, beautiful skies and winds... and a lot of silvery tranquility on that day. This abstract painting shows many thin watery handmixed gouache layers, giving it a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, the sight is slightly blurred and gives all a dreamy atmosphere, as it was on that day. The white parts of the painting are painted, too, in several thin light shades of white, sparkling white and off white/beige with some graphite marks added. Depending on the light it can look more white or more beige (see photos). The handmixed silver pigments can sparkle when hit by light but can also look more like beige, depending on the light, just like it happens in nature. It was important to me in this painting to reduce the colors and layers as much as possible to reinforce the atmosphere of tranquility and peace I felt on that day. 100x100x2 cm unframed,handmixed gouache, pastels, graphite, very little eggtempera and some silver pigments on heavy gallery wrapped canvas, sides partly painted and traces of painting process. Signed on the front and on the back and Certificate of Authenticity. No frame needed, ready to hang, but a thin white/silver wooden box frame would look great.
